And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
In addition to the 1st verse of the apostle John’s book which reads; at the beginning was the Word and the Word was God, we are told that this very same Word became flesh and dwelt among us. JB Phillips, a translator of the New Testament, states; it’s more like God expressed himself in human form and we call Him Jesus. Jesus is the exact image and expression of God and is in fact God Himself. Once we can clearly accept that fact to be true, it changes the way we view the Word and the Way God dealt, and continues to deal with us as humans. But also how we can now walk and reason as spiritual children of God, Who is alive in us by expressing Himself Spiritually. He came into our reality in the form of a baby, lived as a Man, and died as a Savior for all humanity. Rose from the dead in Spiritual expression and today empowers us to live like He did in our reality. Christmas is the celebration of the entrance of Grace into a lost world. Jesus is that expression of Eternal Grace. The greatest gift this Christmas will be the reality of His Grace in our lives, and the availability of His Grace to everyone who will accept Him; “ Who is The Gift.”
May the richness of His presence and the fullness of His Grace express the Glory of His reality in your Christmas.
Blessings, and Merry Christmas
