Mid-Week "MO"

Isaiah 43:18-19

"But forget all that—it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. [19] For I am about to do a brand-new thing. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness for my people to come home. I will create rivers for them in the desert!"

It seems that God is always trying to get us to look forward and not back. He is doing a new thing each day but we can miss it looking over our shoulder at what He did yesterday. What He is doing today can’t be compared with what has been done. He is not waiting, but He is doing it now. Look at the circumstances through His revealed Word and we begin to see the way through them. He guides us beside the still waters to drink of His everlasting presence.

Today is the day of new-beginnings.

Now is the time to allow God to turn the memories of our past year into a ministry of spiritual growth for our future. God reminds of of our past to protect us from the very shallow security in our present.
